Virtue Land, a subsidiary of Asia World Company, Soe Lwin Aung Construction and First Golden Dragon Construction have been given permissions to construct and maintain the roads, as well as collecting toll fee last two month, according to the MIC.
Virtue Land will begin charging the toll for new built toll road [it is also called New Strand Road] in Yangon under the approval of Yangon City Development Committee. The toll road is intended to make the port area more accessible for containers and heavy trucks.
Soe Lwin Aung company’s another road construction is 36-mile toll road that will link Shwenyaung and Lawksawk in Southern Shan State.
First Golden Dragon construction is also allowed to build a 170-mile Mogaung-Kamaing road and Lawa-Kamaing-Lonkin-Hpakan road in Kachin State.
