IBTC has joined hands with Singapore-based Jardine Cycle & Carriage (JC&C) to launch the showroom and service centres as Diamler AG, manufacturer of Mercedes-Benz cars and Fuso trucks, appointed JC&C as their authorized distributor and service provider in Myanmar.

Next month, their first service centre will open on Kabaraye Pagoda road in Mayangone township. Mercedes-Benz showroom and another service centre will follow but towards the end of this year, Aung Moe Kyaw said.

He said, “With JC&C, I am proud to introduce Mercedes-Benz to Myanmar… I believe Mercedes-Benz will be successful in the luxury car market of Myanmar.”

Wolfgang Huppenbauer, President and Chief Executive Officer of Daimler South East Asia Pte Ltd, said the market entry with JC&C into Myanmar is a further step towards a market expansion in South East Asia.

JC&C Managing Director Alex Newbigging said Myanmar has potential to develop and entering Myanmar market will prove their accountability in the region.
