Consult-Myanmar welcomes you to the 27th SEA Games Myanmar, 11-22 Dec 2013Panasonic Asia-Pacific has been announced as the first sponsor to sign up for the South East Asian (SEA) Games, which take place later this year in Myanmar.
As part of its commitment to the biennial multi-sport event, Panasonic will exclusively provide a range of household appliances to the organisers, as well as supplying a range of audio visual equipment on a non-exclusive basis.
The deal was brokered by Dentsu Sports Asia, which is working to secure sponsors for the event on behalf of the organising committee.
“We are extremely pleased to have the opportunity to work with Panasonic as a sponsor for the SEA Games,” said Dentsu’s president and chief executive Kunihito Morimura.

“The games are returning to Myanmar after over 40 years and will see over 6,000 athletes in attendance. This is an ideal opportunity for businesses looking to extend their presence into Myanmar and establish themselves in the region.
“Dentsu Sports Asia will continue its endeavor to approach and select the best sponsors for this landmark event, and aggressively market the 27th SEA Games.”
Myanmar’s games, which will feature 11 countries, including the hosts, competing in more than 30 sports, are due to take place from 11th to 22nd December. Myanmar last hosted the event in 1969
