MAI to fly to Osaka, Japan thrice a week

Starting from October 8, Myanmar Airways International is regularly flying to Osaka, Japan thrice a week.
“Starting from October 8, 2014, on every Monday, Wednesday and Saturday, MAI is flying to Osaka, Japan,” said Aye Marathar, Marketing and Public Relations Manager, MAI.

A Kansai-Yangon flight which would directly ply to Kansai Airport located in Osaka, Japan and then back to Yangon will cost about US$700.

Moreover, MAI has planned for Incheon-Yangon round trip that will cost about US$600. For this, MAI cooperated with airlines like Korean Air and Asiana airlines in 2013 and starting from February 2014, charter flight service was begun.

MAI signed the first aviation contract with the UAE on March 10, 2014 and so, it will fly regularly to the UAE in 2015.MAI airline has been flying to Bangkok, Singapore, Kuala Lumpur, Guangzhou, Phnom Penh, Gaya and Siem Reap with seven 180-seat Airbus A320, and two 120-seat Airbus A319.
