Myanmar must create more domestic job opportunities for pre- and post-graduates, according to work.com.mm.
The Myanmar Investment Commission (MIC) has licenced 38 local and foreign investments this year up to the first week of February, of which 17 are foreign, 10 are local and 10 are joint ventures. The 38 new businesses are expected to create 6,000 new jobs.
“Most foreigners working here come as interns, and if their performances are good, they become permanent workers. By doing so, young people gain work experience,” said Zin May Thet Mon from work.com.mm.
