MYANMAR jade will only be available for purchase using euros during the next gems and jade emporium, according to the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environmental Conservation.
Under the supervision of the ministry, the Myanmar Gems Emporium Central Committee will hold the first showcase during the term of the new government at the Maniyadana Jade Hall in Nay Pyi Taw before the end of June.
Normally, the emporiums turn good profits for participants, one local jade trader said. Local traders may apply to sell their mined products by reporting the quantity they seek to sell no later than 11 May. Vendors will have to pay a deposit and premium fees to the organizer, who will inspect the jade and set prices for products between 19 May and 10 June.
