The Republic of the Union of Myanmar has received financing from the World Bank towards the cost of the National Community Driven Development Project. The Department of Rural Development of the Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock and Irrigation, which implements the National Community Driven Development Project, intends to apply part of the proceeds for the hiring of the following individual consultant positions.
The contract will cover for a period of 12 months and will be extended based on the performance of individual consultant, need for the services and the availability of funds.

- National Training Expert Ref (C24 & 24.1) 2 Posts
- National Gender Consultant Ref (C31) 1 Post

The Department of Rural Development (DRD) now invites expressions of interest from qualified and experienced Myanmar Nationals for the above positions. In submitting their expressions of interest, consultants are kindly requested to indicate the position they apply and the reference number stated above. Interested consultants must provide their updated curriculum vitae, indicating personal and technical skills, qualifications and experience in similar assignments. Expressions of Interest must be submitted in a written form to the address below (in person, or by mail) not later than 06 June 2016 at 16:00 PM.
The successful consultant will be selected in accordance with the provisions, under the World Bank’s “Guidelines: Selection and Employment of Consultants under IBRD Loans, IDA Credits and Grants by World Bank Borrowers dated January 2011”.
