US computing giant Microsoft has officially introduced its latest cloud-based Microsoft Office 365 product to Myanmar.
Mr Sy Wann, Microsoft Myanmar’s Country Director, said at a launcg ceremony at the Sule Shangri-La hotel last month that Myanmar’s technology-based industries are fostering multi-sectoral development andstart using cloud-based technology.
Microsoft 365 is part of Microsoft’s software plus services strategy. The product is available under several plans for businesses, with prices ranging from $5 per month based on the number of users. Standard Office subscriptions are also available for home, student, government and nonprofit users, added Wann.
The Grand Royal Group, a domestic whisky producer, and telco operators Myanmar Post and Telecommunications, are using Office 365.
Office 365 subscribers have access to use 1 TB of storage on OneDrive, and Microsoft is considered unlimited storage options for all user.
