KUALA LUMPUR: Enra Group Bhd’s subsidiary has bagged a US$48mil (RM206mil) contract to provide a mooring system and storage tanker services to Petroliam Nasional Bhd (Petronas) in the Andaman Sea, off the coast of Myanmar.
The oil and gas services provider said on Monday its 60%-owned Enra SPM Sdn Bhd had accepted a letter of award from PC Myanmar (Hong Kong) Ltd (PCML), a subsidiary of Petronas,to provide ties for the Yetagun offshore gas field operated by the PCML
It said the contract, which was secured during an open tender, is for four years and the leasing period is expected to start once the facilities have been commissioned and delivered to PCML.
“Enra is keen to build a track record in providing optimum cost-effective solutions to the oil and gas industry in the region and anticipates the project to contribute positively to the earnings of the company in the next financial year and onwards,” it said.
