Emerging Markets is hiring!
To grow and manage our investment portfolio, we are seeking an ambitious and driven young analyst to join our Myanmar team.
A typical day would include:
- Catching up with an entrepreneur whom you think would be a good partner for the firm
- Reading up on business and political news in the region
- Interviewing an industry expert
- Building a financial model from scratch
- Writing an investment paper
- Assisting a portfolio company with its business plan
- Liaising with team members in Cambodia and Singapore
This job might be for you if:
- You like to read. You are curious. You are eager to learn about different industries and sectors.
- You enjoy solving problems, taking on difficult challenges and finding solutions.
- You have an aptitude for commerce and numbers. You understand basic accounting.
- You enjoy meeting people, networking and building relationships.
- You are a self-starter and can work with minimal supervision.
- You are fluent in Burmese and have excellent written English capability.
