Our client is in the Enterprise IT Solution business in Asia. It is looking for a Sales Executive/Business Development Executive. Salary Package: USD 24,000 per annum plus monthly car allowance of USD 500 per month. Job Location: Yangon. The new hire is expected to have his own car.

The new hire will focus on selling MICROSOFT LICENSING (70% of the time) and Services and Other IT Solutions such as core banking system, anti-money laundering, CRM,  ERP, data mining, security, etc. (30%) and called into new and existing clients to identify and support opportunities, sustaining and renewing client contracts in Myanmar.

 

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Establish and expand relationships with key executives and decision makers within each customer and territory.
  • Develop and maintain exceptional consultative relationships with existing customers which will maximize opportunities and generate sales activity with customers
  • Develop strong knowledge of leading industry trends through ongoing training with software publishers.
  • Act as key resource for leading industry volume license offerings.
  • Customarily and regularly engaged at customer/ client facilities and delivers high impact presentations
  • Identifies cost effective and practical alternatives for the customer by bundling products/ service “solutions” to maximize MICROSOFT LICENSING’s opportunity while meeting customer’s needs
  • Identifies operational strengths and challenges within the customer’s environment.
  • Analyzes and applies industry, competitor and market knowledge to position value of MICROSOFT LICENSING solutions.
  • To build and maintain good professional relationships with Principals to ensure continuous support of MICROSOFT LICENSING’s partnership.
  • To obtain the following certification 74-678: Designing and Providing Microsoft Volume Licensing Solutions to Large Organizations to ensure product knowledge.
  • Manage the Business Unit’s P&L to ensure profitability of the business.
  • To meet targets set by the company and to ensure growth in revenue and profitability.
  • To meet targets and requirements set by the Principals.

Qualifications

  • Effectively bi-lingual in Burmese and English.
  • Able to present at a high level to the CTO or CFO of target companies.
  • Possess a University or Bachelor’s degree
  • High energy, self-starter with progressive track record of consistently exceeding corporate objectives and assigned quotas required
  • Knowledge in Microsoft Licensing and Solutions are an added advantage
  • Ability to overcome and work around issues that are inevitable in new businesses – positive approach to problem solving and working in partnership with cross function
  • Experience in Solution Selling techniques with an emphasis on strong account and territory management
  • Experience in direct selling to customers, building rapport and develop trusted relationships.
  • Strong problem solving and consultative skills required
  • Adaptive to changes, and ability to perform under demanding environment with minimum supervision
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (both verbal & written) at both operations and executive level. Strong presentation skills and ability to influence people.
  • Analytical mind, able to convince key stake holders on your strategy with sensible justification.

  • Identifies appropriate products and services to meet the full range of customer needs
  • Networking skills are required
  • Collaborates with management and sales teams in shared accounts to ensure seamless integration of specialist sales with other sales activities
  • Demonstrates leadership and initiative in successfully driving specialty sales in accounts – prospecting, negotiating and closing deals
  • CRM – Maintain update data, follow up qualified leads, update trip reports
