The My-Governance Project is a technical assistance programme funded by the European Union for Institutional Strengthening and Policy Dialogue Support in Myanmar. Amongst others, it supports the Department of Rural Development through the development of a monitoring and evaluation management information system (M&E MIS).
The My-Governance programme is soliciting proposals from local companies to provide a hosted dedicated server for managing the M&E MIS data.
Company profle:
The company should be:
-A government certified private owned service provider in Myanmar that provides hosting facilities like “dedicated servers” as “managed servers”.
-The service provider con rms that all Servers (Server Farm or Data Center) are located in Myanmar and not in other countries.

-Hard Drive: 2 x 250 GB SATA 6 Gb/s SSD (Software-RAID 1)
-Connection: 1 GBit/s-Port
-Guaranteed bandwidth: GBit/s, 1 Gbit/s Bandwidth if 30 TB is exceeded
-Backup space: 100 GB
-Traffic: 30 TB *
-Network Availability min. 99.9%
-Full root access
-1 Dedicated IPv4 address

-24h reset service via web interface
-Operating systems – Linux, Debian, Windows
The Server Administrator: (Provided by the local service provider)
The web-server has to be installed and managed by the local service provider. The Server administrator will perform the following functions:
-Setup the server and manage the server for contract duration
-Installs software by request (Drupal, etc.) and supports users and developers in server configuration.
-Access to the Server Administrator during working hours, minimum response time within 3 hours.
-Responsible for server and data backup
-Manages the various domains
The selected company will have to sign a security agreement that no data and no application is used / misused and that government will always have access to the data, also in case of contract termination.
