Yangon Industrial Gas Company Limited, a joint-venture between Myanmar investors and Thailand’s Bangkok Industrial Gas Co. Ltd, will produce four types of industrial and medical gases in 2020.
“We are now in talks for land, and have ordered machinery. The plant will start operating as soon as the machineries arrive. We expect we will be able to distribute four types of gases,” U Aung Kyaw, Director of Yangon Gas Industrial Gas Company Limited, told Myanmar Business Today.
The plant will be built on two hectors of land using a $17 million investment. It will focus on producing Oxygen, Nitrogen, Hydrogen, and Argon.
The company promise to ensure the production will be kept in line with international standards, and kept the gas price stable.
