Our Client (a French company) is a highly innovative international Group developing, producing and distributing automotive interior components for the Transportation Industry. The Company has – over the past decade – achieved a leading position in its field of technology; most of the leading Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs’) are already, directly or indirectly, customers. Products are currently distributed in more than 25 countries, in Asia, in Europe and in North-America.
As a part of its expansion strategy, the Company is planning to expand, as a first step, its manufacturing footprint and is considering to re-locate some of its existing business activities to South East Asia, Myanmar being a preferred option as per today. In a second step, the Company is planning to develop, to produce and to distribute out of Myanmar, specific products, adapted to the requirements of the local and South East Asia markets.
Therefore, the Company is looking for a local Partner, willing to be associated as a shareholder to set up a manufacturing facility, optimally nearby Yangon.

The Partner is expected to provide local expertise and to:
- handle government and labor relationship,
- be involved in the daily management of the manufacturing facility,
- have or have access to land and building, 5,000-meter square (1.24 acre) would be sufficient to begin with.
In terms of experience, the local Partner should have experience with serial production according to international standards, optimally for the Automotive / Transportation Industry.
