Foodpanda, a mobile food delivery service, will now connect users to over 1,000 restaurants in Yangon.

“Foodpanda is a platform that is easy to use. It enables users to order foods easily, and get it delivered to their door. Myanmar will be a vital market for the company,” said foodpanda’s regional CEO for the Asia-Pacific region, Mr. Jakob Sebastian Angele.

The food delivery service is already available in 12 countries throughout the world and will connect users in Myanmar with popular restaurants throughout the city.

The service includes access to international fast food brands like KFC, Pizza Hut, Marry Brown, The Manhattan Fish Market; cafes like Gong Cha, Amazon, Cheese O’Tea and Tom & Toms; as well as local favorites like YKKO, Tin Myint Myanmar, Yangon Tea House, Shan Yoe Yar, The Pansodan and Mr. Chef.

The foodpanda app allows customers to order food for any amount, delivered to the house or office free of charge.

People can order food from nearby restaurants, notifying the outlet of their location via foodpanda’s website and the iOS or Andriod application.

“We have worked to change people’s views and feelings about food delivery service,” said foodpanda Myanmar’s managing director Ko Zayar Min.

From 8:00 am to 10:00 pm, customers can order whatever food they fancy from foodpanda.
