Elevated expressway tenders’ deadline – September 1

The final stage of the tender selection process for the Yangon Elevated Expressway will be finalised on September 1, according to the committee responsible for

“The process has already been delayed as airlines have suspended their services due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Many applicants will have to submit their applications online, rather than at our offices. From the ten applicants we will chose one,” he added.

The first public meeting regarding the Yangon Elevated Expressway was held from February 15 to March 1, and a second will be scheduled the tender selection has been made. “The companies that will be selected at the final stage are foreign companies, from Europe and Asia – including companies from China, Japan, Korea, Singapore and Thailand,” he said.
