30 Sep 2021 – The Medium Taxpayers’ Tax Office No. 2 (MTO2) announced that the financial year will also be changed for other businesses, resulting in
- a short transitional financial year of six (6) months from 1 October 2021 to 31 March 2022 (“Transition Period”).
- Subsequent financial years will be a full twelve (12) months from 1 April to 31 March i.e. 1/4/2022 to 31/3/2023. Taxpayers are instructed to cooperate with the tax office during this Transition Period.
